Our Mission
We serve to honour all Allied Servicemen and Servicewomen who fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice to liberate Europe and the rest of the world from tyranny during the Second World War, all the way up to the present day.
We do this to ensure the heroic actions of those service people, past and present are never forgotten, and to ensure the rich history of our Airborne forces worldwide, lives on.
Our team of dedicated parachutists do this, jumping under authentic style static line round parachutes and authentic uniforms, from original WWII C-47 aircraft, over the original Drop Zones used during the Second World War.

Working closely with our fellow RCPT branches across Europe, the USA and in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority and Federal Aviation Administration respectively, we are very excited and proud to be working on some very exciting plans for the Round Canopy Parachuting Team's commitment to preserving and honouring the legacy of our Parachute Regiment and indeed the Airborne community across the world for the upcoming 80th Anniversaries of D-Day and Operation Market Garden.

22ND SPECIAL AIR SERVICE REGIMENT & former PARACHUTE REGIMENT
The Round Canopy Parachuting Team – Great Britain is proud to announce Billy Billingham MBE to the team as our newest member,
but most importantly as our team’s official ambassador.
As many of our followers, supporters and team members will know, Billy is a huge public figure known for initially serving with the British Parachute Regiment, then for serving over twenty years with the SAS, as a bodyguard for A-list celebrities and most recently as Chief Instructor on Channel 4’s hit UK show SAS: Who Dares Wins
and DS on FOX TV’s hit US show Special Forces World’s Toughest Test.
As a result of his highly decorated career, he has received numerous awards including the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery
and an MBE, presented to Billy by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We are thrilled to welcome Billy to our organisation, extremely excited to work alongside him, and to jump alongside him very soon!

Please note that it is still early days, and since we cannot process payments at this time all new applications for non-existing RCPT International members are conditional, subject to an annual membership fee of £40.00 for Jumpers and £20.00 for Non-Jumpers.

Our team is headquartered primarily at the historic RAF Upottery in Devon, the south of England - home to the 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division in the days leading up to the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War Two, with our members, partners and other bases spread throughout the United Kingdom.
The Round Canopy Parachuting Team - Great Britain, a branch of the Round Canopy Parachuting Team originally founded by President Hubert Achten, Vice President Dominique Jame and Jack & Jane Wingate, is a nonprofit organisation.
